19/1/12 - This lovely looking house is very close to Salisbury Cathedral, it is owned by the National trust and I plan a visit when it opens in the spring, It was used as a location in the 1995 film Sense and Sensibility (or as i like to call it, Sense and Stupidity)

18/1/12 - Last night I was lucky enough to get to work at the top of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth for the Stargazing Live event organised by the BBC, Sadly there was too much cloud to see any stars but the views of Portsmouth are amazing at night. I also managed to get on TV for about 3 seconds :D

12/1/12 - This is the view along Ports Creek towards the Ports Bridge. Running along the creek on the right of the photo is the A27 and over the water on the other side are Hilsea Lines, the 18th and 19th century fortifications.
Wednesday, 11 January 2012
7/1/12 - Here is one of the Portscreek foot bridges from another angle, looking south towards Hilsea Lines. There are lots of signs in the area of the old military presence, from the old brick fortifications to the remains of a dam not far from this bridge.
6/1/12 - Ports creek is the stretch of water separating Portsmouth from the mainland making it an island, connecting Portsmouth island to the mainland are 3 road bridges, 1 rail bridge and 2 foot bridges, this is the smallest of all of the bridges at sunset.
