4/9/12 - It was near here in the 1860s that Alfred, Lord Tennyson set up his summer home of Aldworth, He purchased Black Down and built a home over looking these magnificent views. This photo was taken at the mysteriously named Temple of the Winds, it was a favourite location of Tennyson.
